|Jacob's LEGO: Internet TV with Miro||[ Contents | News | RSS feeds ]|
Some time ago I was made aware of the Internet TV player
(then known as
Democracy Player). Miro allows me to watch any
Internet TV channel which is distributed as a RSS feed.
The program is still contains some errors and will occasionally hang, but I like the freedom it gives me. It downloads the programmes when I am online, and I can watch them whenever I feel like it. What I miss at the moment (besides fixes to the errors) is a way to mark interesting programmes while I am off-line. With the current version I have I am required to be on-line to mark programmes as interesting/for inclusion on my own channel.
You can read more about how it works on Get Miro.
